Whispered Dreams, Book Two, segues to another part of the world, where it takes the reader on a journey of discovery, that will not be revealed until the third book. It picks up the action and the focus of the story shifts to Ellen's son, Jason, who has grown into a young man and is every bit as headstrong as his mother. Together, they expand their racing teams, outsmart the 'good ole boys' down at the race track, and endure confrontations from owners who like to play by their own rules.
Meanwhile, a CIA team uncovers a plot to kill Jason, due to his heritage from their Middle East cousins. When Jason learns that the Monarchy of Obagur is threatened, he is compelled to become involved. Ellen starts to worry when Jason misses their usual time to connect. Days pass without word and when the unthinkable happens, she refuses to attend Jason's Memorial Service, because she will not accept that he is presumed missing or dead.
Ellen knows that Jason might still be alive - but no one believes her. What has happened to him? She doesn't believe that life is a bowl of cherries, and it's certainly not a box of chocolates! Every one of us has to overcome obstacles during our lifetime -- she's had more than her share. How will she get through this sad turn of events?
