One of the best
Wuthering Heights is an incredible story where, for the first time, love does not make anyone better. The character development is, in most cases, towards the worse. But this is what makes the novel great, it shows in a disillusioned way that love can be the exact opposite of that purifying force that it is usually portrayed as. Once you start getting into the story itself you'll never be able to put it down, which relates perfectly to the dynamics of the story, where everyone is tied and attracted to each other by bonds none of them desire. The rhythm is perfect, the story flows nicely, there is not a single point where you'll feel bored because of the lack of events, even the dullest moments are filled with suspense and restlessness in the waiting for the event that will be disclosed next. I have loved and hated this book, but I think everyone, at least once in their lifetime, should read this masterpiece.
