The group is removed from the system and exiled, and their currency is dismantled. These interventions are introduced incrementally, often without full visibility into their scope. In parallel, work on the Ring advances. Designed by the machine and constructed using materials and technologies derived from Mars, the structure begins to produce measurable results. While its function is not yet fully understood, its development represents a step toward a broader capability whose purpose remains just out of reach.
