The Collins International AS English General series provides an easy-to-use, international course that supports students in developing the key skills required for the Cambridge International AS Level English General Paper (8021) for examination from 2028. We are working towards endorsement of this title for the Cambridge Pathway. The Student’s Book provides full coverage of the Cambridge International AS Level English General Paper syllabus (8021) for examination from 2028 and has been written and reviewed by a team of experienced international teachers. The chapter structure highlights the skills that need to be developed and shows how build them in manageable steps before helping students to apply them to different tasks. Delivers a truly international course, encouraging students to read widely on a range of contemporary, global themes to develop their curiosity and engage with new perspectives. Supports students with English as a second or additional language through the clear, accessible tasks and explanations, glossaries alongside relevant texts, and the language support features throughout each unit. The course consists of a Teacher’s Guide, Student’s Book and a digital subscription on Collins Hub. (The Teacher’s Guide and digital subscription will not go through the endorsement process for the Cambridge Pathway).
