During a critical public demonstration, Wheatstone makes a final attempt to ruin the event. Sam's quick engineering repairs and Marty's distraction tactics save the day, ensuring the telegraph's success. Inspired by Morse's vision, Elias Brown switches sides and helps expose Wheatstone's sabotage. With the telegraph demonstrated and the timeline restored, Marty, Sam, and Lisa return to 1987. Communication networks are back to normal, and history is preserved. Back in the present, they reflect on their adventure and discover that Abigail Turner's article has become a celebrated historical document, inspiring generations of women in science and journalism. Samuel Morse's legacy is secure, and the trio realizes that even small acts in the past can have profound effects on the future.
