The Death Mark Everything has calmed down for Gabrielle Munson and her cousins in Marazion when a surprise visit of the siblings' father and older brother shakes things up. A curse has been put on the family and another necromancer is working hard on making it come true. Despite her usual principle of not tangling with others in her trade, if it can be avoided, Gabrielle has to go to war to protect those family members she likes.
