There’s already been one death by the time the authorities ask Fin to go undercover to investigate a company that is creating extensive environmental damage to the ocean, threatening an octopus nursery, a shark mating area, and the endangered green turtles, all causes dear to her heart. Meanwhile, Fin uncovers pieces of an ancient chess set made of solid gold. Is Kraken after the chess set, or are they really building the resort they've claimed? Or is there something else going on? Disregarding the danger to herself, Fin continues her investigation even after things turn deadly. Will she be able to bring the monsters to justice or will the danger of working undercover prove too much for her to handle on her own?
