This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice. Lakshya Gaitonde was bon in village Salshirambe of Karad Taluka, Sangli District, Maharashtra in 1983. At the age of 5, he moved to Bombay with his parents since his father, Rajaram Gaitonde was transferred as Head Constable in Mumbai Police. Lakshya had been a cricket enthusiast since childhood, idolised Sunil Gavaskar and dreamt of joining the national team on growing up. However, Police Sub-inspector, Rajaram Gaitonde was martyred during the serial bomb blasts in March 1993 in the city. Overnight, Lakshya decided to abandon his dream and instead join the Police Force to follow in his father’s footsteps. After graduation, he joins the Mumbai Police as the Assistant Commissioner in its Anti-Terrorism Squad. In July 2006, he loses his mother and fiancée, Seema in similar bomb blasts in the suburban trains. He then decides to travel to Pakistan to uproot the menace of terrorism, joins Lashkar-e-Taiba and plays a pivotal role in the infamous 26/11 terror attacks in 2008 again in Mumbai. Subsequently, he wins the confidence of the ISI and the Pakistani Army, hoodwinks them and destroys the entire terror network as well as their military establishment. Due to the death of several innocents, a remorseful Lakshya leaves his police job, dons saffron and goes away into the Himalayas to atone for his sins. In 2017, at the behest of POTUS, he travels to Syria and with the help of American Forces, he succeeds in dismantling the terror network of IS. On return, Lakshya goes to the MindRolling Monastery in Dehradun and joins the monks there to practice and preach Buddhism. In January 2021, the Prime Minister and The National Security Advisor invite him to Delhi, where they request him to unravel the mystery of Covid-19.
