Penguin Audio, 2027

The definitive oral history of the TV show Mad Men by New York Times bestselling author of The Office Andy Greene, sharing the stories behind the memorable and critically acclaimed show as told by its cast, writers, and crew, timed to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the show's premiere For eight years, seven seasons, and ninety-two episodes, one television show dominated conversations at every office water cooler—Mad Men. Set in the 1960s at the fictional advertising agency Sterling Cooper, the show followed protagonist and famous antihero Don Draper through the twists and turns of his professional life. Twenty years after the series 2007 debut, the New York Times bestselling author Andy Greene assembled essentially the entire cast and crew of the show—including stars Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, John Slattery, and so many others—to talk about making the show. Using the same oral history format that made The Office a smash bestseller, Greene breaks down every element of the show in a way that will captivate and fascinate fans who are hungry to know more about the show that was certainly the best show of "peak TV"—and maybe the best of all time.
