European economic integration is one of the key challenges for managment in the 1990s. As well as the question of expanding the scope of business, the impetus lies on rethinking the whole management process within a European frame of reference. This text responds to these challenges and furnishes the reader with a wide understanding of human resource problems in European business. The textbook is organized into three modules: module A deals with the special issue of managing human resource in a European context.
