However, if the mind is filled with filthy thoughts, if it is filled with lust and ego, then you can easily lose your holiness. Whatever you do, do so to serve the full glory of God. When our Lord Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, His mind was fixed on God the Father. He also lived His life all focused on God, and on doing the Divine Will. We, as ordinary and sinful humans, can change our mind, and in doing so, we can lift our soul and offer it in a way that is more pleasing to God. However, to do this, we ought to purify our mind and free it from all sin and self-ego. We shall empty ourselves and allow the Spirit of God to fill our mind, and thereby fill our whole being. Always think about God and His Will, and when you learn how to do this always, then you shall be able to live a holy life. A holy life is simple: always do the Will of God.
