"You want your Eggplant-love, yes?" said Nuthatch, voice very low. It sounded like his voice had descended to his groin. It came from someplace deep and smoldering now, with no play in it. Efir nodded. He didn't think his throat was capable of speech. "We are five in number," said the orc. He held up five fingers, counting them off in silence. Eggplant. Nuthatch. Fistful. Two others, unnamed. "But in love… only one." He lowered his five fingers to Efir's belly. Efir shuddered at the touch.
