GelenbeNetworkcanbeusedtomodellargescalecomputers- temsandnetworksinwhichsignalingfunctionsrepresentedbynegative customersandtriggersareusedtoachieve?owandcongestioncontrol. 1 Introduction In this survey and tutorial, we discuss a class of queueing networks, originally inspired by our work on neural networks, in which customers are either "signals" or positive customers.
