His relationship with Leonora has continued to blossom, at a time when his relationship with his best friend, Hans Pelletise, continues its downward spiral. With the formation of Ed's political party, he has forged many relationships with senior leaders and politicians worldwide. But his enemies continue to grow in number, and dark forces are now at work to thwart Ed's goal of watering down LPAS laws and his eventual aim of having the laws repealed. Many believe that should Ed succeed; it will bring about the end of humanity. For this reason, they intend to stop him and anyone else who is a threat to the LPAS program, organisation and laws.
