Jesus told us that looking at heaven we can interpret through the appearance of the sky the upcoming earthly weather to prepare to farm the land but that we fail instead to interpret the signs of the times as spiritual truths. And this shows our blindness about the spiritual truths taking place around us. God gives us many signs of His authority through His signs in Heaven. For example, when He spoke through clouds directly to Moses, through the beautiful star of Bethlehem announcing Jesus' birth, or through a bright cloud when Jesus was baptized; through the darkness of the sun after His death on the cross, or when Jesus was taken to Heaven through a heavenly cloud; through His generosity causing His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sending rain on the righteous and the unrighteous; also, when Jesus saw Satan as a lightning fall from Heaven, and when Jesus Christ will be coming with the clouds again to save us from this dark world. Many signs of our Father in Heaven are still occurring in the sky to alert us of forthcoming dangers or to enlighten our spiritual understanding. And many of those signs are arriving in the form of winds as divine forces from Heaven. We, as authentic followers of Christ, are still in the sea of Galilee and need to raise the sail of our boats to catch the winds of the spirit of God.
