The Chief's Disciples is a sacred record of Yahawzhowa (Jesus in America) speaking to a broken people through a grieving Chief and a reluctant Midew, calling them to form a new kind of council, a circle of twelve whose power is measured not by status, but by love of truth, protection of the vulnerable, shared weight, repentance, and rest. Through visions, laws, and real conflicts, abuse cases, land disputes, misused authority, and public correction; Yahawzhowa teaches them the Law of the Circle, the testing of disciples, the Law of Rest and Return, and the dangers of "iron circles" that copy the form but not the heart. The story follows the calling and naming of the twelve, their first hard decisions, their willingness to correct one of their own, the spread and distortion of the pattern in other lands, and finally the peaceful passing of the Chief's mantle to the Keeper of Dawn. It ends with a prophetic promise to the children of the Seventh Fire, future generations in an exhausted, noisy world—that this pattern of honest, accountable, vulnerable-protecting councils will rise again among them, and that their small circles of courage are seen, remembered, and woven into Yahawzhowa's long story.
