The Creator

Raihan is a journalist in Nadiganj. His life takes a turn the day an old fisherman asks him a question he can't shake: who made the rules that govern the world? The question sends Raihan out to talk to people who see the world in entirely different ways. A physicist explains what equations can and cannot answer. A mathematician wrestles with the limits of proof. A Muslim scholar speaks of surrender and certainty. A doctor has watched too many people die to talk about God casually. A farmer trusts the seasons more than any book. A painter finds meaning in color and shape that words fail to capture. Each conversation cracks something open in Raihan, belief, doubt, grief, wonder, plain stubborn curiosity. Slowly he starts to see the shape of the problem. Science can tell you how the universe runs. It was never built to tell you why anything runs at all, or whether that why even needs an answer. Philosophy and faith live in that gap, and Raihan finds himself standing in it too, no longer just reporting on other people's answers but searching for his own. The Creator doesn't try to settle the question. It follows a man learning to live inside it, uncertain, curious, unwilling to stop asking. Along the way Raihan falls in love, starts a family, and grows older. And one day he finds the same question waiting in his child's eyes, ready to travel forward again.
