Qumran. The caves. The oldest biblical manuscripts ever found. You've heard about the discovery. Read what the scrolls preserve. What did scripture look like two thousand years ago? Which books were copied again and again beside the Dead Sea? And what does it mean to read them today? A documentary gives you a glimpse. A headline gives you someone else's conclusion. This Library of Alexandria edition gives you the texts themselves - in clear modern English. THE BIBLICAL MANUSCRIPTS OF THE JUDEAN DESERT. ONE VOLUME. The Law - read the foundation as the scroll communities knew it. The books of Moses, preserved among the oldest manuscripts. The Prophets - follow Isaiah and the rest. The voices the Qumran scribes returned to most. The Psalms and the Writings - hear the prayers of the ancient world. Poetry and wisdom from the same caves. Sacred writings preserved among the scrolls. Texts that travelled with scripture in the centuries around the time of Jesus. No archaic "thee-and-thou" barrier. Compare what you know with what the caves kept. Form your own understanding. ALL FIVE VOLUMES + 242 MORE WORKS. EBOOK AND AUDIOBOOK. INCLUDED WITH YOUR BOOK. The book is where you begin. A link and QR code printed inside your book unlock the Library of Alexandria digital library, at no extra cost: All five volumes to read and hear - The Holy Bible, The Complete 88-Book Ethiopian Bible, The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible, The Nag Hammadi Scriptures and The Complete Books of Enoch.
