In August 2019, the fifth international congress of the “International Association for the Study of the Philosophy of Edith Steinö (IASPES) took place at the University of Cologne. Of the 57 papers presented at this prominent conference prepared and chaired by the historian and theologian Harm Klueting, 54 were accepted for publication in revised versions. Professor Klueting was able to add three other contributions – among them by the director of the Research Institute of the German Province of the Carmelites at Bamberg, the historian and theologian Edeltraud Klueting, who acts as co-editor. The congress volume, published only a little more than a year after the congress despite significant constraints due to the Corona pandemic, contains 29 contributions in English, 21 in German, and seven in Spanish or French on the subjects “Biographical Questionsö, “Edith Stein and Thinkers of the Pastö, “Edith Stein and other Contemporary Thinkersö, “Anthropology – Women and Menö, “Philosophy – Phenomenology and Christian Philosophyö, “Society and Politicsö, “�Theology and Spiritualityö, and “Experiences with Edith Steinö._x000D_ _x000D_ Im August 2019 fand in der Universität zu Köln der fünfte internationale Kongress der „International Association for the Study of the Philosophy of Edith Stein“ (IASPES) statt. Von den 57 Vorträgen dieser von dem Kölner Historiker und �Theologen Harm Klueting vorbereiteten und geleiteten, prominent besetzten Tagung wurden 54 in überarbeiteter Fassung zur Veröffentlichung angenommen. Professor Klueting konnte drei andere Beiträge – darunter von der als Mitherausgeberin fungierenden Leiterin des Forschungsinstituts der Deutschen Provinz der Karmeliten in Bamberg, der Historikerin und �Theologin Edeltraud Klueting – hinzu gewinnen. Der trotz wesentlicher Arbeitsbehinderungen durch die Corona-Pandemie nur wenig mehr als ein Jahr nach dem Kongress erscheinende Kongressband enthält 29 Beiträge in englischer, 21 in deutscher und sieben in spanischer oder französischer Sprache zu den Themenfeldern „Biographische Fragen“, „Edith Stein und andere Denker der Vergangenheit“, „Edith Stein und andere zeitgenössische Denker“, „Anthropologie, Frauen und Männer“, „Phänomenologie und Christliche Philosophie“, „Gesellschaft� und Politik“, „�Theologie und Spiritualität“ und „Erfahrungen mit Edith Stein“.
