EU-Russia relations in the framework of the Tempus projects

The purpose of the present volume is to shed light on EU-Russia relations, the argument being that TEMPUS-TACIS projects can provide an interesting study-experience which can pave the way to fruitful discussions on a wide range of issues relating to specific policies in the field of International cooperation among Universities. The volume is the result of the seminars and master-classes held in three Russian universities (St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk and Petrozavodsk) by European Professors coming from the Universities of Genoa and Helsinki and exchange periods delivered by Russian PhD students involved in the “PREGO” project in Europe. This project was developed in the framework of the TEMPUS-TACIS which is considered one of the most important European Community programme, aiming to improve the quality of the higher education systems in the EU partner countries (the Western Balkan countries, the Eastern European and Central Asian countries and the Mediterreanean Partners) through cooperation with institutions from the EU member States.
