And the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as if he were speaking to a friend. And he returned to the tent; however, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, did not leave the tabernacle. And Moses said to the LORD, "See, you say to me, "Bring up this people," and you haven't told me who you're going to send with me." Nonetheless, thou hast stated, "I recognize thee by name," and "thou hast also found grace in my eyes." Now, if I have found grace in thine eyes, shew me now thy path, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thine eyes: and consider that this country [is] thy people. And he said, "My presence will accompany thee..."
