Hydroponics and aquaponics are two methods of growing plants without soil, which are becoming increasingly popular as people look for more sustainable and efficient ways to produce food. Both hydroponics and aquaponics offer a number of benefits over traditional soil-based agriculture. They require less water, fertilizer, and space, and can be grown year-round in controlled environments. They also produce higher yields and are less susceptible to pests and diseases. Additionally, they can be used to grow food in areas where soil quality is poor, such as in urban environments or in areas affected by drought or desertification.
