Child abuse can lead to adult abuse, and in extreme cases, lead to the creation of a psychopathic killer, but this time with a slight difference. Based in Scotland, the harsh Glaswegian post war era, where alcohol abuse became a major negative issue and ruined many peoples existence from the working classes. Alcohol was their only way to cope with diverse social problems; unemployment, unwanted children, marriage break-ups, physical abuse of women, living conditions, poverty. It fed society with a plethora of orphans and abandoned children left to their own devices, or they landed in under-funded orphanages where the word child abuse was hidden behind a cloak of lies and deceit. Mary, a victim of the time, sexually abused as a small child by her alcoholic father was 'thrown into the lion's' den of foster care and orphanage existence. Her wretched childhood perversely drives Mary to enact retribution and revenge on those who perpetrated crimes upon her and other children from similar, violent and desolate backgrounds. However, there is one fundamental difference between Mary and other Scottish kids living the lives of an abandoned, unwanted species. Mary is void of all caring emotions to other humans and an ice-cold killer manifests itself. Only to her dolly, Sally, does she show fanatical affection and love and woe betide any person who dares touch or get near Sally; it is a fatal reaction. Escaping from the 'devil's abusive circle' of 60-70's Scottish child care as a mere homeless teenager, Mary embarks on her journey of psychopathic retribution. She schemes and plans every 'slaughter' impeccably, a lone, cold-blooded 'she-wolf' who knows no limits in her methods of slaughter and feels exhilarated seeing her victims die and bleed to death in horrific circumstances for their perverse crimes against innocent children. The hunt begins as the Scottish Police begin to realise they have a serial-killer causing havoc and fear not knowing who the killer is until a jigsaw of clues is formed around a certain Glaswegian orphanage. Even then the officers hunting the killer are left in the dark until a curious, non-trustworthy witness gives them a vital tip and the hunt accelerates to all parts of Scotland where Mary targets her victims. Gradually a sequence of events enable the police officers to unravel the motives behind the slaughter and lead them to the surprise identification of the killer. Who are the victims? Members of the higher echelons of Scottish society, maybe? The hunt concludes in a dramatic, bloody scenario, where the police officers involved fail to save Mary's last victims and they are slaughtered in an excruciating manner.
