From suspicious cutting lines that reveal unauthorized alterations to tissue paper that doesn't match the era, every pattern tells a story. But when Dottie discovers the victim was blackmailing designers about their stolen patterns and copyright infringements, she realizes the killer is protecting a fashion empire built on stolen ideas. With the annual Vintage Fashion Show approaching and the real culprit still cutting corners, Dottie must piece together this patchwork of deception before her own pattern gets permanently discontinued.
