Conclusion To Be a Great Minister of God Secrets of Great Men or Women of God By Dr. Lawrence Emwosa Osifo INTRODUCTIONS The General Calling Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. - Matthew 11 verse 28 Matthew 28 verse 19; says; go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost: He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High; ‘Will' rest in the shadow of the Almighty. - Psalms 91 verse 1 The Almighty God has His secret place where one can dwell in peace and prosperity. The person who lives in the place where the secrets of The Almighty are revealed enjoys abundant blessings from The Holy Spirit. Such provisions include; “Love, Power and Sound mind”. “Sound mind” means the ability to have self-control and to know what rightly belongs to one. Many young Christians make the common mistake of beginning to doubt their salvation or the presence of God with them whenever they fail or encounter problems. This is also the common case with many young ministers of God; they begin to doubt if they are really called; or have the Holy Spirit in them; especially when they see themselves as poor or not having enough as other ministers do. This concept has become an alarming opinion among even some great ministers who should know better in this generation of “love of the world and money”. Many of the great ministers who are acclaimed for signs and wonders are also very rich in earthly material things or money. Some of them may be surprised to know that they are not acceptable to the heavens because of their hypercritical ‘judgmental spirit’. Some will be disallowed for ignorance or theft. Their attitude of “I have arrived; I know it all; I am holier than thou”; coupled with the unhealthy competition and the constant reminder of others; that they are not probably called; have discouraged countless men and women who would have helped to pull down the kingdom of the powers of darkness; in this generation; from moving forward in the spiritual battlefield. Many Christians are living ignorantly in crisis, and are being destroyed; by fear in uncountable numbers; every time. The consequences of their fall will be upon those who are busy contesting for earthly supremacy rather than contending against the arc-enemy of the Holy Spirit. James 4 verse 17; says; therefore; to him that knows to do good deeds, and does it not, to him it is sin. The absence of the Christians from the secret place of The Almighty; makes them powerless. That is why Satan is still powerful against the Christians. The issue should not be who is called but that the work should be well done; and that everyone is called by the Lord to serve Him. The issue should be let everyone in the kingdom be well equipped with the right knowledge of ‘how to function’and how to effectively relate with others in the kingdom*.*** The real issue should be how to educate the enlisted and the volunteers to find out which office they can effectively operate. The truth is that all Christians belong to Christ and no one has the right to lord it over the brethren. My desire is to keep the Christians generally; informed and be “in form” and make all; if possible, to be power transformers against the powers of darkness. The “Ministry of God”; is like any other working ministry. There are various and different departments. There are Chief Executive Officers; messengers or protocol personnel.
