50th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition: 2 CD + LP + 7" + Blu-ray Audio
STAGE FRIGHT, terzo album della Band pubblicato nel 1970, viene celebrato con nuove edizioni ampliate, remixate e rimasterizzate.
Il prossimo 12 Febbraio 2021, Capitol/Universal Music celebrerà il 50° Anniversario del disco che per l’occasione è stato remixato ed ampliato e sarà pubblicato in varie edizioni: Super DeLuxe Boxset, Doppio CD e LP con vinile 180g.
Tutte le versioni della Anniversary Edition sono state supervisionate da Robbie Robertson e presentano un nuovo mix stereo dei master multi-traccia originali ad opera di Bob Clearmountain. Inoltre, per la prima volta, le canzoni sono presentate con la sequenza prevista originariamente. Nelle versioni in Doppio CD e Boxset sono presenti anche field recordings inediti, alternate mix ed un concerto inedito dal vivo alla Royal Albert Hall di Londra del 1971.
In esclusiva per il Boxset, Clearmountain ha anche creato un nuovo mix surround 5.1 dell'album, di due tracce bonus e di tutto il concerto, presentato sul Blu-ray con il nuovo stereo mix ed audio ad alta risoluzione (96kHz/24 bit). Il cofanetto include anche una riproduzione esclusiva del singolo in vinile 7’’ uscito in Spagna nel 1970 con "Time To Kill"/"The Shape I’m In", un booklet con le note bio-discografiche di Robbie Robertson e John Scheele, la riproduzione della recensione di Robert Hilburn pubblicata dal Los Angeles Times, tre litografie fotografiche ed una valanga di fotografie di Scheele e di molti altri fotografi.
