Eva Devereaux, a foreign student is unable to travel back to France from the United States due to a travel ban imposed on New Orleans by the government as part of a response to a rapidly growing pandemic. She visits her friend Matt in his parent's mansion while they're on vacation in Italy and cannot come back to the country. The government-imposed lockdown intensifies, and people are restricted from travelling too far. For Eva this means she is stuck in Matt's house. After Matt's girlfriend Sophia finds out that Eva is there with Matt she heads over to mark her territory. Unknown to both Matt and Sophia, Eva is bi-sexual and has had a secret crush on Eva from their first year in college. Sophia's attitude serves to increase the attraction and she cannot help but try to annoy Sophia more by flirting with Matt.
