Where do people search for treasure? Deep underwater, in old, dusty mines, in the mountains, even under an old tree on a deserted island. Our reward; our "gold" is living in heaven with Him someday. But sometimes we need help "reading" the map and understanding its mystery language. When the Bible speaks in mystery language it may not be so obvious. Why are we called a pot, a sheep, or a branch? Why is Jesus called a Potter, a Shepherd, a Vine, or even a Ladder? BUT... you have to "Dig Deeper" in the back of the book to find out exactly what those verses say. The versions chosen enable young children to understand.
