Victory over Satan’s Powers By Dr. Lawrence Emwosa Osifo INTRODUCTION The Victorious Approach You can easily conquer your opposition and make good successes in every circumstance; and in all situations of life; if you can follow these teachings religiously. You cannot make any meaningful progress unless you can overcome your spiritual and physical challenges in life. This book teaches the approach to real and true victories for true Christians. The Victorious approach is the footsteps or pathway that will bring the desired greatness and usher any person into a lasting prosperity in life. This is the pathway of life; which God; the Creator of the Universe; has ordained; and designed for His children; to bring them into His divine blessings. If any man has problems; persistent troubles; in life; it should be attributed to the neglect of this way of life and failure to adopt this standard for living; or simply ignorance of the mysterious working of divine providence. If anyone is victorious in life, it can be attached to the fact that: the person is aware of this divine lifestyle; has adopted it; and such a person is following the true pathway of life. Whoever takes the victorious pathway will never regret his days on earth and he will be sure of a glorious eternity. If you have a copy of this book, please treasure it. Read it over and over again. It is inspired by God to profit all. THE VICTOR A victor has conquered an enemy, won a battle, or emerged triumphantly out of any competition. There is usually a reward for the over-comer. Revelation 2:17b; says; “To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it”. The hidden manna is the fruit of a life which Adam and Eve were prevented from eating in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3 verse 20). This is the “crown of life” popularly referred to in the song: He that overcomes …. (3 times) Shall wear a crown of life….. The crown of victory thus places the winner in an elevated position with a new name as king (ruler) - A Priest and Prophet in his domain. The victor is thus a progressive and prospering man. His position is on top of the ladder an honourable and peaceful place. Only the born-again children of God have access to this rare privileged position in life. God said; let us make man in our image, after our likeness: Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and the cattle, and the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, God bless them, and said to them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over everything that moves upon the earth. The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and every fowl of the air, all that moves upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. (Genesis 1 verses 26, 28; 9:2). Hence the Psalmist asks in Psalm 8 verses 4 to 6 “What is man, that You are mindful of him? And the son of man, that you visit him? - For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honour. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands: You have put all things under his feet. All that is expected of any man on earth is to overcome; then he will be well placed. You cannot have a fulfilled life or you cannot be welcome into the presence of God now and forever if you do not overcome the earthly spiritual warfare (the huddles of life). Satan’s powers When you or someone you know is sick without remedy; this is Satan’s power in operations. You are amid plenty but still not happy; Satan’s powers are against you. You are a graduate but can’t find a job; Satan’s powers are opposing you. You are married and have no issues; Satan’s powers are the cause. Your spouse
