This edited anthology sheds light on the diverse challenges faced by educational systems in different parts of the world, offering transnational insights into crucial issues such as minority rights, inclusion, and diversity. This transnational perspective also forces us to confront the realities shaped by social inequality, systemic risks and exclusionary practices that have emerged in the wake of neoliberal policies. In education, these challenges demand urgent attention and innovative solutions. The volume transcends the traditional boundaries of the migration field, offering a comprehensive exploration of the nexus between education and a society characterized by linguistic, cultural, and social heterogeneity. The contributions examine how educational institutions – from early childhood services and schools to non-formal learning contexts – engage with diversity, providing reflective insights that inspire change and innovation in the educational sphere.
