She challenges Tom to recognize the Bible as God's instruction manual for life, inclusive of work; to be used as an operational blueprint. Tom reluctantly acquiesces not so much out of conviction that Catherine is correct, but due to lack of conviction that she is incorrect. The answers prove to be there. What does the Bible teach us about business and career? A lot actually, one might even say everything. Its principles are the foundation of the most successful leaders and organizations throughout history. Its power is not due to being steeped in religious mysticism or even moralism, rather because scripture illustrates how God's Way is a set of actions that lead to success. Whether just entering the workforce or running a company, scripture provides parallels to overlay on today's issues. We tend to focus on miracles and divine intervention, yet it is the physics that God embedded into all aspects of life that often most impact our daily existence.
