The five traditional images in poster form include works by well-known artists. They depict some of the cultural doctrines of the Christian faith, from incarnation, baptism and the last supper, to the crucifixion and the resurrection in churches. The accompanying booklet provides background notes to the artists and their style. It also offers practical activities for classroom use or children's or youth groups, and is linked to "Using Art in RE" by Vivien Northcote. The works are: "Madonna and Child with Angels" by Gentile da Fabriano"; "The Baptism of Jesus" by Piero della Francesca; "The Miraculous Draught of Fishes" by Raphael; "The Last Supper" attributed to Giampietrino; and "Scenes from the Passion" by the Master of Delft - "Christ Presented to the People" (Jesus led to the Cross), "The Crucifixion" and "The Deposition" (Jesus taken down from the Cross).
