In a Surrogate World 2044 is a story based in the year 2044 and is predicated on the idea that marriage & live-in romantic relationships are largely a thing of the past, due to the fact that (among other reasons), people simply aren't getting along anymore living in close quarters with each other for years on end. And because of this reality, we are now faced with a divorce rate that just hit the 80% mark! As well in 2044, romantic relationships, dating, bonding and interacting with each other are far different than they were in past generations. And in regards to having children, instead of traditional pro-creation methods, men and women are now going to specialized Surrogacy Clinics for their pro-creation needs, (which in 2044, are even more popular than plastic surgery clinics!).
