Accompanied by the children of the Bloodline and an elderly priest, and guided by two creatures of this other world, they begin a quest which will reveal more than the truth about the Ark. Fraser and Jon start to learn truths about themselves – truths that they would never have suspected, and could never have discovered had they not gone in search of ghosts on that summer's night.
