Taking a deep breath, she descended a set of stairs and rounded a stack of metal cages. There, chained to the floor with heavy iron links, was a dragon. A real-life, scaled, and winged dragon. Warrick, one of the Phantom Fire, had been chained and trapped in this cellar for a long time. Hearing someone approach he opens his eyes expecting his captors again. Only to find the most beautiful woman staring at him in shock, and he knew that she was his fated mate. His captors were nowhere to be found, and as their eyes met Danica couldn't help but feel a strange connection between them. Despite her better judgment, she sets Warrick free and the two embark on a journey to uncover the truth and seek justice. But when they find themselves in the middle of a centuries-old battle between dragons and humans, will they be able to work together to find a solution?
